 Bismarck, North Dakota is the
capital city, and is also home to Jobbers Moving &
Storage corporate offices. Bismarck was founded in 1872, became the capital of the Dakota Territory
in 1883 and the capital of North Dakota in 1889
(wikipedia).
Bismarck is centrally located in North Dakota along
the I-94 corridor. Neighboring Bismarck across
the Missouri river is Mandan. Together
Bismarck-Mandan form the Bismarck-Mandan
metropolitan statisical area. Bismarck-Mandan consistently ranks at or near the top of quality of
life measurements such as safety, healthcare,
education, recreation, and environment. The
Parks and Recs department has created a walking
trail path connecting Bismarck and Mandan and
beyond. Over 50 miles of pathway for
bicycling, rollerblading and walking. Bismarck's total crime rate per 100,000 inhabitants
was 2,202.9 in 2005. Bismarck was designated an
All-American City in 1997, and the Bismarck MSA has
been named a "Five Star Community" by Expansion
Management magazine multiple times, most recently in
2007

Despite the lower crime rate Bismarck is currently North
Dakota's 2nd largest city. The majority of the
